Is it painful? How painful?
One of the many advantages of our method (machine hair stroke) over traditional blading method (microblading) is that our procedure is significantly less painful.
Although not entirely painless, our procedure is softer on skin and its pain is quite bearable. We rarely need to use numbing in our procedure, whereas, microblading is impossible without numbing.
How long does it last?
2 to 3 years in most cases. After that, it becomes lighter (fade) and needs a touch up. The refresh restores it back to near new condition, so it stays another 2 – 3 years.
Modern PMU is designed to gracefully age and fade over time and then be refreshed, rather than remain dark and harsh like body tattoos or old days tattooed eyebrows.
My friend has got her eyebrows done somewhere. They look artificial, dark and heavy (awful). I am too scared to try this.

Is there any maintenance involved? What kind of mainteneance is required?
There are some basic precautions required, before & after the procedure, that are informed to you during consultation or during procedure.
Once brows are healed – there is almost no maintenance required. But some good practices will help keep the brows looking natural and maximize its life. You will need to do a maintenance touch-up at an appropriate time (typically between 2-3 years).
